Before you call
The questions we are asked most, answered plainly. Anything else, ask: we would rather explain than surprise you.
01How does the fixed price work?
We look at the job, in person or from photos, and send a written price. That is what you pay. If we open something up and find a problem nobody could have seen, we stop, show you, and price it before doing anything extra.
02How soon can you come?
Minor repairs are usually booked within five working days, in a two-hour window. Painting and refits are booked by date, typically two to four weeks ahead. Extensions start after drawings and approvals.
03Do you clean up after?
Yes. Dust sheets down before we start, hoovered and wiped before we leave. Old fittings go with us unless you want to keep them.
04Are you insured?
Yes, public liability cover for every job. A copy of the certificate comes with each written price.
05What areas do you cover?
Anywhere within about 25 km of the yard. Outside that, ask: for refits and extensions we often travel.
06Is there a guarantee?
Twelve months on our workmanship, ten years on structural work. If something we fixed fails, we come back and fix it at no charge.
07Do I pay a deposit?
Not for repairs or decorating: you pay when the job is signed off. Refits and extensions are paid in stages, never ahead of the work.
