On our own server
Sites on a Hosting or Care plan run on a server we rent, set up, update and watch ourselves. No shared website builder, no reseller panel.
Daily backups, kept 7 days
Each site is backed up every day and backups are kept for 7 days. The last backup date is shown in your portal.
SSL on every site
HTTPS certificates are issued and renewed automatically, and the expiry date is in your portal.
GDPR-ready forms
Forms ask only for what you need, link to your privacy notice, and use a hidden spam trap instead of a third-party captcha. Messages go to your inbox.
Cookie consent that works
If your site uses analytics or ad cookies, they load only after a visitor agrees, with reject as easy as accept. Our cookie-free visit counting (Umami) sets no cookies at all.

Bytyn is a trading name of TRACIO Limited, registered in England & Wales, company no. 17236113. Our team is based in the United Kingdom.
Data processing agreement (DPA / AVV)
When we host your site or receive its form messages, we process personal data for you. A data processing agreement under UK GDPR and EU GDPR Article 28 (in German: Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag, AVV) is available on request. Write to hello@bytyn.com with “DPA” in the subject.
What stays yours
- Your privacy notice, Impressum and other legal texts. We build the pages and their structure; the words must come from you or your legal adviser, because they depend on your business.
- The domain, registered in your name.
- If you host the site yourself: security updates, backups and availability after handover.
Payments and accounts
Card payments run on Stripe; card numbers never reach our servers. Portal passwords are hashed, admin accounts need two-factor sign-in, and client files are private to your account. Details on security.
Third parties
Stripe for card payments and your email provider for mail. Google Analytics and Ads only with consent, if switched on. See privacy and cookies.
